The Scholarship Foundation of Wakefield, Inc. (TSF) is honored to announce the establishment of the Joshua Gray Newman Fund.
Josh Newman was a lifelong resident of Wakefield and a proud member of the Wakefield Memorial High School Class of 2000. He had a deep love of football and was a member of Wakefield High’s 1999 Super Bowl Championship team. Josh worked as a landscaper in Wakefield and North Andover and previously was an appliance repair technician at LAR. He cherished time spent with his family at Ossipee Lake.
The Joshua Gray Newman Fund will become a permanent fund once it reaches a minimum balance of $10,000. Upon permanency, beginning the following June, an annual scholarship will be awarded in Josh’s memory to a Wakefield student.
Contributions to the Joshua Gray Newman Fund are encouraged to help the fund grow to a permanent level. Donations can be made to TSF of Wakefield, P.O. Box 321, Wakefield, MA 01880.
