The Scholarship Foundation of Wakefield, Inc. (TSF) is honored to announce the recent establishment of the Card Shows Kindness Scholarship Fund. Beginning in June 2026, a scholarship will be awarded from this fund to a local student pursuing education beyond high school. Card Shows Kindness Inc. is a newly established 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Wakefield, with a mission to organize the energy, excitement and fellowship of the collectible card community as a force for good. Across New England, Card Shows Kindness has partnered with local Pokemon, TCG, and sports card show organizers to weave charity and compassion into the heart of the card-collecting community.
Card Shows Kindness has supported organizations including food banks, students, firefighters and families. The TSF Card Shows Kindness Scholarship Fund is the group’s largest endeavor. As noted by Founder and President Nich Wattanasin, “we wanted to permanently fund a scholarship through The Scholarship Foundation of Wakefield so that the card community’s generosity doesn’t just help one student – it creates opportunity forever.”
Contributions to the Card Shows Kindness Scholarship Fund are encouraged to help this fund grow and provide increased awards.
