The West Side Social Club initiated this scholarship fund to honor the memory of a teacher and coach who influenced the lives of thousands of youngsters. Tom O’Donnell coached high school football in Wakefield in the 1950s, leading the Warriors to the 1956 Middlesex League Championship. In 1956, he was inducted into the Massachusetts High School Coaches Hall of Fame.
