Celeste Landers Wentworth was a beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend, who passed away on June 12, 2026.
Celeste was raised in Wakefield, Massachusetts, where she attended the public schools and graduated from Wakefield High School. She continued her education at business school, taking courses in Accounting. She went on to build a successful career at C.R. Bard, a medical device supplier, where she worked in the accounting department for 38 years. Throughout her career, she was respected and admired by her colleagues for her dedication and professionalism.
Celeste was a caring and compassionate person who was always willing to lend a helping hand. She cherished time spent with her family and had a strong faith in God. She enjoyed gardening, collecting keepsakes, creating arts and crafts and simply browsing stores for the pleasure of discovering something new.
Celeste is lovingly remembered by her devoted husband, Bruce J. Wentworth; her daughters, Kathleen Wentworth and Jennifer Wentworth; her grandson, Kai Wentworth; her sister, Tanna Lewis, and her husband, Joe Lewis; her brother, Jay Landers, and his husband, Jasper Lawson; and her brother, Barry Landers, and his wife, Wendy Landers.
To honor Celeste’s life and legacy, her brother, Jay, established this fund with the support of her family. Created in her loving memory, the fund reflects the values Celeste embodied: generosity, faith, and a deep devotion to family.
