John Swallow, a member of the Wakefield High School Class of 1958, was murdered in New Jersey in 1982 following a senseless robbery which netted the thieves only $175. He was employed as second vice president of the branch liaison department of the prestigious firm of Bache, Halsey, Stuart, Shields, Inc.
