David J. M. Proctor Fund

David Proctor himself established this fund. He was a member of the WHS Class of 1961, having attended the Warren School and the Atwell Junior High School. Mr. Proctor was the Trustee of the Eleanor Eustis Farrington Fund, which is one of TSF’s larger funds. In addition, he had started funds in the name of his parents, wife Jean, and his brother Thomas Hamel. He established his own fund “in grateful appreciation of the wonderful education given to me by the Wakefield School system from 1949 through 1961”. David Proctor died of cancer in 1999 leaving a lasting and substantial legacy for the community he admired.
