Christopher Stone’s family established this fund ten years after he died from leukemia. Christopher died at the age of eighteen the summer following his graduation from Wakefield High School in 1984. He had been diagnosed with leukemia early in his senior year. Described by his family as “a young man who loved life”, Christopher was active in many sports, including skiing, baseball, basketball, tennis and football. He was also active in the Boy Scouts and with his youth group at the Congregational Church in Winchester.
