This fund was established by the TSF Board of Directors in late 1986 and was implemented for the first time in June, 1987. Each year seniors who are Wakefield residents may submit applications that reflect their academic merit (required 3.4 GPA to be eligible), their leadership, service, and character qualities. The TSF Executive Board chooses recipients. Each recipient is eligible for $600.00 for that academic year. A personal donation by William R. Spaulding in the year 2000 increased the number of awards available.
