42nd Annual Phonathon Appeal – March 2022
The cost of a college education is on the rise and it continues to soar. And excessive student loan debt is a burden to many graduates.
The Annual Phonathon raises funds for scholarships awarded to Wakefield residents attending post-secondary school as a full-time student.
Each donation, regardless of the dollar amount, goes a long way in making a difference in the life of at least one local student in need of scholarship assistance. Thanks to the generosity of Wakefield citizens, last year we raised $58,018!
Everyone who receives our financial appeal is encouraged to make a tax-deductible donation to TSF. All donors will receive a confirmation by mail. Donations can be applied to either the general fund or to an existing permanent or accumulating scholarship by noting the name of the fund on the check or the online optional note line. Donation envelopes are included with the March WMGLD bills. Checks can also be mailed to: TSF of Wakefield Phonathon, PO Box 321, Wakefield, MA 01880.
